Now marking its 10th anniversary, HeySea is busy tryingto build on its domestic success in China’s 60ft-plus motoryacht sector bybecoming a popular brand internationally for large yachts and superyachts.

Heysea is currently the mainland’s leading builder of luxury yachtsfrom 24m (78ft), according to the 2017 Global Order Book by Boat International.The yard employs nearly 300staff, including a 40-strong in-house design team, in its 66,700sqm manufacturing facility in XinhuiDistrict,Jiangmen.

Heysea is currently working on its biggest-ever build, the 140ft Vista 43m power catamaran for a mainland Chinese owner, which is due for delivery to Shenzhen next year.
海星正在建造一艘43米的Vista 140雙體游艇,是目前為止在建項目中最大的一艘,預計明年交付給深圳的船東。

A Vista 140ft, a Heysea115, two Asteria 108s, two Asteria 96s, an 82ft Zoom Plus 82 sailing catamaran,two Heysea 82s, an Heysea 80-footer, two Zoom 76-footers and a Zoom58-footer make up the yard’s 13 ongoing projects.
海星在建的項目共有13艘,其中包括1艘Vista 140英尺,1艘Heysea 115英尺,2艘Asteria108英尺,2艘Asteria96英尺,1艘Zoom Plus 82英尺雙體帆船,2艘Heysea 82英尺,1艘Heysea 80英尺,2艘Zoom76英尺和1艘Zoom 58英尺游艇。
Construction is soon to commence on a 72ft powercatamaran, while a proposed 50m motoryacht is undergoing a redesign andmay be slightly reduced in length as per marketing requirement.

The yard’s established lines include HeySea (60, 70, 78,82), Zoom and Superyachts, which include the popular Asteria 108. The firstAsteria 108 launched in 2013, the sixth hull was delivered earlier this year toa Hong Kong-based client and the seventh will launch later this year.

The Heysea 82 has been the yard’s most iconic modelsince being developed in 2010, with the first hull arriving a year later.Today, hull number 21 in the line is being built, reinforcing the Heysea 82’sreputation as the most popular China-built superyacht.

In July, 2016, YPI becamethe central agent for Heysea superyacht Sealink 152 who has built a reputation for providing the clients with honest and informed advice alongside discreet, trusted support for the last 40 years and assisting the client in every aspect of yacht ownership experience, from yacht purchase and sales through to charter, yacht management and crew recruitment as a full-service yacht brokerage company.

Heysea Yachts announced the addition of Doug Hoogs to their team as the Representative of their US office in December of 2016 for America marketing. Doug, a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point with a licensed captain for 50 years, has been involved in marketing and sales for large yacht builders domestically and overseas since 1987.

In January, Heysea appointed Ensign Ship Brokers to distribute its range in Australia and New Zealand. Ensign, which has six offices and 30 staff, also represents shipyardsin France, Germany and Italy.
